Gold prices witnessed a slight increase today, with 24 carat gold priced at Rs.6857.2 per gm, up by Rs.121.0. Similarly, 22 carat gold is priced at Rs.6281.2 per gm, up by Rs.111.0. However, the price change in 24 carat gold over the last week shows a decrease of -0.2%, and over the last month, it has dropped by -5.67%. Silver prices, on the other hand, have seen a decline, with the cost per kg now at Rs.77100.0, down by Rs.300.0.

Gold and Silver Rates Across Cities

In Delhi, the current gold rate stands at ₹68572.0/10 grams, while in Chennai, it’s ₹68371.0/10 grams, and in Mumbai and Kolkata, it’s ₹68505.0/10 grams each. As for silver, the prices in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata are consistent at ₹77100.0/Kg. The gold August 2024 MCX futures are trading at Rs.67300.0 per 10 gm, up by 0.253%, while the silver July 2024 MCX futures are at Rs.76304.0 per kg, up by 0.242%.
