Significance of Bihar Day
Bihar Day, observed annually on March 22, commemorates the formation of the state of Bihar in 1912 when it was separated from Bengal by the British. It is a public holiday in Bihar, marking an important milestone in the state’s history.
The messages come amidst preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, scheduled to be held in seven phases starting from April 19 and concluding on June 1.
