The award was proudly received by JK’s Tourism Secretary, Syed Abid Rashid, on behalf of the Jammu and Kashmir government. Notably, in the current year, Jammu and Kashmir have witnessed an influx of 1.55 Crore tourists, including a significant number of 40,000 foreign guests. As the year progresses, the government is setting its sights on a target of welcoming 2.25 Crore tourists, a milestone that would undoubtedly contribute significantly to the region’s economic development and promote its unique cultural heritage.
