Relief for NEET Postgraduate Aspirants: Exam Fee Slashed by Rs 750
In a welcome move for NEET postgraduate exam takers, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has decided to reduce the examination fee by Rs 750 for each candidate. This significant fee reduction aims to benefit a large number of candidates and make the examination process more accessible.
Gratitude Expressed to Union Health Minister
Expressing gratitude to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for his leadership, Dr. Abhijat Sheth, in a letter dated January 5, 2024, acknowledged the minister’s role in achieving the objective of enhancing the quality of medical education in India. The letter highlighted that the fee reduction would apply to candidates submitting their application forms for the upcoming examination after January 1, 2024.
Commitment to Quality Medical Education
Dr. Sheth, on behalf of the governing body of NBEMS, assured the Union Health Minister that NBEMS would continue working under his guidance to provide specialist manpower, conduct high-quality examinations, and offer training opportunities. The fee reduction, a result of collaborative efforts, reflects a commitment to making medical education more inclusive and accessible for aspiring students.
