Sensex Special Trading Schedule: Ahead of Ram Temple Ceremony: Trading Schedule for Saturday and Monday
In anticipation of the Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday, January 22, the stock markets will observe special trading hours. On Saturday, January 20, trading will be open from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
However, markets will remain shut on Monday, January 22, due to a public holiday in Maharashtra.
Both the Maharashtra and central governments have declared holidays on January 22 to commemorate the Ram temple Pran Pratishtha.
The adjusted schedule aims to accommodate these special circumstances.
