Shahzad Akbar Faces Acid Attack: Injuries Not Life-Threatening
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s accountability chief, Shahzad Akbar, has recently become a victim of a shocking acid attack at his residence near London, in the United Kingdom. Providing details to Geo News, Akbar disclosed that the assailant, disguised as a delivery person, targeted him when he opened the door. Fortunately, most of the acid landed on the door, sparing Akbar’s wife and children from harm.
Akbar, currently residing in a small village outside London, shifted to his new home just 1.5 months ago. The incident raises concerns about the security of public figures and the leaking of private addresses. Akbar stated that his self-exile in the UK was disrupted when a helmet-wearing delivery man rang his doorbell, launching the attack as soon as the door opened. Despite the traumatic event, he emphasized that his injuries are not life-threatening.

The incident has prompted increased security around Akbar’s home, with the police actively investigating the matter.
