Omar Abdullah and Journalist Nidhi Razdan Announce Marriage in Social Media Posts

SRINAGAR, October 31, 2026 (VoM News): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and journalist Nidhi Razdan have announced the new phase of life.

The announcement was made by the couple through social media posts.

While taking to Social media platform ‘X’, Abdullah, 56, shared photographs of the couple on X read as,“A new journey began yesterday,” tagging Razdan in the post.

After Omar’s post, Razdan, 49, also shared a message confirming the marriage, writing, “It’s done bro.”

It is being said that a low number of people attended the gathering included Omar Abdullah’s parents, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and Mollie Abdullah, along with his three sisters other relatives, alongwith Razdan’s parents, veteran journalist MK Razdan and Sarla Razdan, were said to have attended.

Earlier, the Supreme court formally dissolved Abdullah’s marriage to Payal Abdullah in July, after they reached a settlement and jointly sought divorce by mutual consent.
