
Delhi CJP Protest News LIVE: Internet services Suspended, Dhruv Rathee Detained, Abhijeet Dipke Lands in Delhi
NEW DELHI, October 10, 2026 [VoM News]: The city of Delhi has been prepared for the protest by the Cockroach Janta Party against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar today at Jantar Mantar. Police has not allowed the protest and some measures have been taken by the authorities to ensure law and order.
More than 250 trains from other states, apart from local trains, that were supposed to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin and New Delhi stations on Saturday between 4 am and 2 pm have been cancelled and entry/exit gates at 45 Delhi Metro stations, including Rajiv Chowk, New Delhi, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk and Kashmere Gate, are also closed.
Internet services have also been suspended in the vicinity of Janpath-Kartavya Path crossing which is within 4 KM radius for 24 hours.
YouTuber and social media personality Dhruv Rathee has been arrested from his home in Gurugram’s Sector 56 by the Delhi Police on Saturday morning ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar against the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, police sources say.
