Non-Compliant Vessels in Strait of Hormuz Are Punished Every Night: IRGC Navy Political Deputy Ali Mohammadi

Tehran, October 08, 2026 [VoM News]: Amid the ongoing United States-Iran conflict, a new statement by IRGC Navy Political Deputy Ali Mohammadi has created a storm concerning non-compliant vessels along the crucial energy route.

While issuing a statement during an interview with Iran’s Fars News Agency, Ali Mohammadi said that Iran’s IRGC Navy had maintained complete and continuous surveillance operations, including offensive and defensive operations, in the Strait of Hormuz.

He stated that since day one of the war, the IRGC has been conducting surveillance of activities taking place in the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Ali Mohammadi rejected the claims of “three million to eight million” concerning oil passage through the Strait of Hormuz, describing the figures mentioned by Trump as “incorrect.”

Ali stated that American President Donald Trump makes such remarks to lower global oil prices.

On the other hand, Iran has made it crystal clear that it could impose its will at any point, whenever required, across the Strait of Hormuz, and that vessels violating the rules are punished every night.

Ali accused the United States of creating insecurity in the Gulf region and warned that Iran could impose its will at any point in response to interference by the United States.
