The arrested individuals, namely Gulshan Naz, Imtiaz Ahmed, and Abid Shah, were operating under the directives of Mohammad Qasim, alias Suleman, a LeT commander currently residing in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK). Swain emphasized the importance of public awareness in thwarting attempts to radicalize vulnerable youth. Despite Qasim’s efforts to recruit individuals through social media platforms, many have been deterred from joining militancy. However, Swain urged parents and educators to remain vigilant, highlighting the need for collective efforts in combatting radical ideologies.

Moreover, the police are actively monitoring social media activities, particularly those involving VPN usage, to prevent any connection with anti-national elements. This proactive approach underscores the commitment of law enforcement agencies to safeguard the region from external threats and maintain peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
