    2025 SAG Awards: 20 Records That Could Be Broken Revealed! (Timothée Chalamet, Pamela Anderson, Michelle Yeoh & more)

    Ahead of the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards, VegasInsider.com has collected a list of 20 records that could be broken during the ceremony. 

    To highlight a few of the records that could be broken, “Wicked”, which received 5 nominations at the 2025 SAG Awards, has a chance to break or tie the record for the most wins in one night by a single film, Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”) could become the youngest Best Leading Actor winner ever, Pamela Anderson (“The Last Showgirl”) could become the first Canadian to win Best Leading Actress, Jamie Lee Curtis (“The Last Showgirl”) could join Kate Winslet as the only actress to ever win twice in the Best Supporting Actress category at the SAG Awards while Michelle Yeoh (“Wicked”) could become the first Asian actor to win the Best Cast in a Motion Picture award on multiple occasions.

    When looking at the TV categories, Lily Gladstone (“Under the Bridge”) could become the first Indigenous winner in the Female Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie category, Anna Sawai (“Shōgun”) could become the first Japanese actress to win in the Female Actor in a Drama Series category while Nicola Coughlan (“Bridgerton”) could become the first Irish actress to win in the Female Actor in a Drama Series category, Jeremy Allen White (“The Bear”) could become only the second actor to ever win 3 years in a row in the Male Actor in a Comedy Series while Allison Janney (“The Diplomat”) could join a rare group of 3 other actors who have won 8 or or more SAG Awards in their career. Last but not least, the Shōgun” ensemble could become the first primarily Asian cast to win in the Best Ensemble in a Drama Series category.

    • Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”) could become the youngest Best Leading Actor winner ever and break the record which is currently held by Nicolas Cage who was 32 when he won  for “Leaving Las Vegas” in 1996 at the age of 32 – Chalamet is 29 years old

    Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role

    • Pamela Anderson (“The Last Showgirl”) could become the first Canadian to win Best Actress
    • Karla Sofía Gascón (“Emilia Pérez”) could become the first transgender actress to win and she could also become the first Spanish actress to win in the Best Actress category

    Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role

    • Yura Borisov (“Anora”) could become the first Russian actor to win in the Best Supporting Actor category

    Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role

    • Jamie Lee Curtis (“The Last Showgirl”) could join Kate Winslet as the only actress to ever win twice in the Best Supporting Actress category 

    Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture

    • Michelle Yeoh (“Wicked”) could become the first Asian actor to win the Best Cast in a Motion Picture award on multiple occasions – she first won as a part of “Everything Everywhere All At Once” and could win again as a part of the “Wicked” ensemble

    • “Wicked”, which received 5 nominations at the 2025 SAG Awards, has a chance to break or tie the record for the most wins in one night by a single film while “A Complete Unknown” with 4 nominations could tie the record – it is currently held by “Everything Everywhere All At Once”, which won 4 awards at the 2023 ceremony

    • Kathy Bates (“The Great Lillian Hall”) could become only the 5th actress to win two times in the Female Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie category

    • By winning for “The Diplomat”, Allison Janney could join a rare group of 3 other actors who have won 8 or or more SAG Awards in their career (Julia Louis-Dreyfus – 9, Alec Baldwin – 8, Julianna Margulies – 8) – Janney has won 7 SAG Awards, so a win in the Female Actor in a Drama Series category in 2025 would be her 8th
    • Anna Sawai (“Shōgun”) could become the first Japanese actress to win in the Female Actor in a Drama Series category
