Xiaomi Set to Unveil Xiaomi-14-Ultra: Leaked Images Reveal Quad-Camera Setup and Innovative Features
In October of last year, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in China, featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and the innovative HyperOS interface. Now, there are indications that the tech giant is gearing up to expand this lineup with the imminent launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Recent hands-on images of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra have surfaced online, offering a detailed glimpse into the phone’s design.
The leaked images, originally posted on Coolapk (now deleted) and shared via SlashLeaks, showcase what appears to be a prototype of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The handset is seen enclosed in a protective case that covers the camera setup, prominently displaying a quad-camera configuration with a periscope lens situated on the lower right side of the device. Notably, the camera island is slightly larger than that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
The back of the phone features a white label, with markings such as ‘N1’ indicating the presence of Leica-branded cameras, ‘EU’ suggesting a European variant, and ‘P2’ hinting at the prototype nature of the unit, likely used for internal testing by engineers. One of the leaked photos also includes the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro for comparison.
Anticipated to make its official debut in March, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to boast a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is speculated to house four 50-megapixel cameras, featuring a Sony LYT900 as the primary sensor with an f/1.63 aperture. Running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the smartphone is rumored to sport slightly curved screens and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. Additionally, it is said to come equipped with a 5,180mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will join the previously launched Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models, both introduced in China in October. These models also run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and incorporate Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. Featuring LTPO OLED displays with up to 2K resolution, they include a Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup.
As Xiaomi gears up for the release of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, enthusiasts await the official unveiling in March, eager to explore the advanced features and capabilities offered by this upcoming flagship smartphone.
