Woman Killed in Road Accident in Srinagar

A woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the Tengan Bypass area of Srinagar on Monday evening, officials said.

An official said that the deceased has been identified as Afiya Umar, a resident of Lasjan, Srinagar. “She was struck by a vehicle at Tengan Bypass and was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead.”

Meanwhile, an investigation has been initiated. (KNO)
