Zimbabwe wins the final T20 against Pakistan, avoids WhiteWash
Zimbabwe clinched the third & final T20 by two wickets against Pakistan by the late and deciding strikes of Tinotenda Maposa strikes, and Brian Bennet ‘s contribution.
In a final match played at Queens Sports Club on Thursday, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first, posted a minimal total of 132/7 runs in alloted 20 overs.
For Pakistan, neither openers, nor middle order played well. Farhan Sahibzada falls for just 4 runs, followed by golden duck of Omair Yousuf, Usman Khan (5). Salman Ali Agha scored 32(32), Arafat Minhas 26(22). For Zimbabwe, Mazarbani was pick of the bowler with the figures of 4-0-25-2. Whereas, Ngrava, Maposa, Burl, and Masakatza picked a wicket each.

Chasing down a modest total, Zimbabwe’s Brian Benett scored 43(35), and followed by the late strikes of Maposa 12(4), hitted a six and a four at the end of the moment, when it was much required, and seals the glory of the match. Sufiyan Muqeem has been named the Player of the Series for his superb bowling right through the T20Is, whereas Brian Bennett was declared as the Player of the Match.
Now, Zimbabwe have total of 3 victories in T20Is over Pakistan and are ready to face Afghanistan, whereas Pakistan will take on South Africa in upcoming series.
