Instead of weakening BRICS, this strengthened both BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). At the SCO summit 2025, China’s leadership declared that the “dragon and the elephant will now walk together,” signaling a new alignment of Russia, China, and India—three nuclear powers uniting. According to Faisal, this was originally the vision of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, which was blocked by Pakistan’s army under US pressure. Ironically, Indian Prime Minister Modi has now embraced that same vision, leaving Pakistan sidelined.

Commenting further, Faisal Muhammed said that Trump’s refusal to visit India might have been aimed at pleasing Pakistan or pressuring New Delhi, but it backfired, weakening his own QUAD coalition. He warned that Trump’s advisors appear to be deliberately pushing him “into the dark.”, the consequences could be dire. Faisal stressed that under Shahbaz Sharif’s rule, Pakistan has been sacrificed for Trump’s failed global politics, leaving the state dangerously exposed to future crises.
