Vivo is set to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 series in China soon, which includes the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. The lineup is expected to offer innovative features and impressive specifications, as teased by a senior official.
Launch Date and Event Details
The launch event for the Vivo X Fold 3 series is scheduled for March 26 at 7pm local time in Shanghai World Expo Center. Alongside the foldable smartphones, Vivo will also unveil the Vivo Watch 3, Vivo TWS 4, and Vivo Pad 3 Pro.
Design and Features Teased
Promotional images shared by Vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdong suggest that the phones will be available in black and white color options. The official claims that the Vivo X Fold 3 series will be the thinnest and lightest flagship foldable handsets, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The Vivo X Fold 3 series will feature an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 display, Vivo’s V3 imaging chip, and a 50-megapixel Zeiss-backed camera. They will adopt the Armor Feather design language and receive SGS five-star anti-drop certification. Additionally, the phones will have an IPX8 rating for splash resistance.
Equipped with the “Blue Ocean” battery systems, the Vivo X Fold 3 handsets are expected to offer longer battery life. They will also incorporate Vivo’s “Blue Heart” AI model for enhanced performance and efficiency.
Leaked information suggests that the vanilla Vivo X Fold 3 could be priced at CNY 7,999, while the Pro model may start at CNY 9,999 in China. The smartphones are anticipated to offer a premium experience with top-of-the-line specifications and innovative features.
