In a disturbing incident, South Korean ruling party lawmaker Bae Hyun-jin, 40, was attacked on a street in Seoul’s Gangnam district. The assailant struck her with an unidentified blunt object, resulting in injuries. Fortunately, her condition is reported as “not life-threatening.”
