Vi Launches Rs. 3199 Annual Prepaid Plan with Amazon Prime Video Subscription
Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has introduced a new annual prepaid recharge plan worth Rs. 3199, presenting users with an exclusive yearly subscription to Amazon Prime Video. This plan caters to Vi’s prepaid subscribers, granting them unhindered access to the OTT platform’s diverse content without any additional subscription charges.
The package offers comprehensive benefits, including unlimited voice calling, 2GB of daily data usage, and 100 SMS messages per day, all valid for 365 days. Notably, subscribers also enjoy 730GB of data access over the course of the year alongside the Amazon Prime Video Mobile subscription.
Moreover, the plan comes with additional perks, such as unlimited data usage between 12:00 am and 6:00 am and a unique weekend data rollover feature. This feature allows users to carry forward unused data from the weekdays to the weekends for enhanced flexibility.
In addition to the Amazon Prime Video subscription, Vi’s recharge plan also includes Vi Movies and TV subscriptions, providing access to an extensive library of over 5,000 movies, an array of shows, and more than 200 TV channels, featuring popular networks like Aaj Tak, ABP, Discovery, among others.
Vi’s move in introducing this annual prepaid plan follows a trend already set by its competitors, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. Jio offers an annual recharge plan at Rs. 4,498, including access to various streaming platforms such as Prime Video Mobile, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLiv, and Zee5.
Meanwhile, Airtel’s year plan, priced at Rs. 3,359, comes with a complimentary one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile and Wynk Music.
