US Destroys Houthi Drones in Yemen
US Destroys Houthi Drones in Yemen
The US military’s Central Command reported the destruction of five unmanned surface vessels and one aerial drone in Houthi-controlled regions of Yemen on Saturday night.
Interception of Houthi Drones
Centcom forces intercepted two drones launched from Houthi-controlled areas toward the Red Sea on Saturday morning. One drone was successfully destroyed, while the fate of the other remains uncertain, presumed to have crashed into the Red Sea.
Houthi Attacks in the Region
Yemen’s Houthi rebels have been targeting cargo and military vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden to support Palestinians in Gaza for several months.
