
Union Health Minister Complains of Harassment of BJP Workers During Election Campaign
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has complained to the Chhattisgarh Election Commission about the alleged harassment of BJP workers during the election campaign in the state. Mandaviya stated, “In the Chhattisgarh assembly elections, we have received complaints from many places that government officials are stopping vehicles bearing the BJP’s flag.” He also alleged the “torture and murder of BJP workers” in the state.
Concerns Over Fair Elections
Mandaviya raised concerns about the Model Code of Conduct being openly violated in many areas and stressed the importance of ensuring fair elections. He vowed to address these issues to ensure that the people of Chhattisgarh can vote and choose their government without fear.

Election Details
The first phase of polling in Chhattisgarh, covering 20 seats, is scheduled for November 7, with the remaining 70 seats set for polling on November 17. Counting of votes will take place on December 3. The BJP aims to regain power from the Congress in the state, a significant battleground in Indian politics.
