UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The meeting commenced with Fidan conveying President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s condolences and sympathies over the passing of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The discussions between the UAE President and the Turkish Foreign Minister centered on strengthening cooperation between the two nations across diverse sectors, reflecting their strategic ties and comprehensive economic partnership. They also addressed regional developments, particularly efforts to secure an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and address the humanitarian crisis in the region.
