Omar Shehadeh, Special Envoy of the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, concluded his visit to Trinidad and Tobago after meeting with Prime Minister Keith Rowley. The discussions centered on reviewing the growing bilateral relations between the two countries across multiple sectors, buoyed by the leaderships’ support.
Prime Minister Rowley lauded the robust bilateral bonds and constructive cooperation witnessed in various fields, underscoring abundant prospects for further strengthening ties. Shehadeh echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the enduring friendship between the nations and the shared commitment to expanding cooperation.
During his visit, Shehadeh also engaged with Trinidad and Tobago’s officials, including Senator Dr Amery Browne, Senator Rohan Sinanan, Senator Paula Gopee-Scoon, and Pennelope Beckles-Robinson. These meetings aimed to propel the bilateral relations forward, exploring avenues for collaboration in diverse areas of mutual interest.
