The first training session for polling staff in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections was held today at the Community Hall in Bhaderwah. This crucial session was organized to ensure that the 150 polling staff members are well-prepared to perform their duties efficiently on election day.
Dr. Nazir Ahmed, the Nodal Officer for Training and Assembly Level Master Trainers (ALMT), led the session, which provided in-depth guidance on various critical aspects of the election process.
The training covered key areas such as the handling of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), the process of voter verification, and the importance of conducting the elections smoothly and fairly. The participants were also educated on the latest protocols and procedures mandated by the Election Commission to ensure the integrity of the election process.
Arif Rana, who is serving as the Coordination Officer and ALMT, was also present at the session, providing additional insights and support to the polling staff.
The training emphasized the significance of maintaining election integrity, with Dr. Nazir Ahmed underlining the necessity of strictly following the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission.
