Telangana Chief Minister Empowers Healthcare: Distributes 6,956 Nursing Officer Appointments
In a significant move, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy distributed appointment letters to 6,956 newly recruited nursing officers at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. Recognizing the pivotal role of these nurses in building a “healthy Telangana,” the Chief Minister highlighted the swift actions taken to address the year-long delay in appointments, following the identification of the issue by Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha.
Acknowledging Timely Resolution of Delays
Congratulating the nurses and acknowledging the crucial role of Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the prompt response to the identified delay in appointments, including the resolution of legal hurdles. The Chief Minister expressed appreciation for Narasimha’s efforts in organizing the program and ensuring the swift distribution of appointment letters.
Government’s Commitment to Tackling Unemployment
Highlighting the government’s commitment to addressing unemployment, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) was dismantled, and new officials were appointed to resolve the unemployment issue. He promised to fill 2 lakh government job vacancies by the year-end, working tirelessly to rebuild and strengthen Telangana.
Future Recruitment Plans and Overcoming Opposition Criticism
The Chief Minister outlined plans for recruiting more than 15,000 police personnel under the police recruitment board and assured that vacancies in various departments, including the police department, would be filled shortly. Responding to criticism from opposition figures, he urged them to witness the joy and happiness of the newly appointed individuals, emphasizing the government’s commitment to uplifting the unemployed youth.

Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Health Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha, and other key ministers and officials participated in the event, underscoring the collective effort to address unemployment and strengthen Telangana.
