SSP Doda Holds SMAC Meeting At District Hqrs, Insists On Cohesiveness

In view of upcoming Republic Day-2025 celebration and public functions, SSP Doda, Sh. Sandeep Mehta-JKPS today chaired a SMAC meeting at District Hqrs which was attended by officers of Army, CAPF and other sister intelligence agencies working in the District.

The aim of the meeting was to assess the present security scenario of the District and to work in coordinated manner by all security/ intelligence agencies in the District.

All the officers of Army, CAPF and other intelligence agencies shared their views, suggestions and assessment on the present security scenario of the District.

A threadbare discussion was held on the present security situation and other aspects related to security and various suggestions, measures and strategies were taken to put in place a joint and effective mechanism for efficient monitoring and security surveillance on ground.

SSP Doda emphasized upon the officers to ensure alertness and vigil in their areas in view of upcoming Republic Day-2025 celebration and public functions.

Dead Body Recovered in Doda; proceedings initiated

The officers of Army/CAPF were advised to exercise effective surveillance and monitoring by way of intensifying patrolling and area domination with special focus in and around the locations where Republic Day functions would be held and area in the vicinity of defense and vital installations.

It was impressed upon all agencies to work in close coordination with each other and make this national event a grand success.
