SpiceJet Flight to Gwalior Delayed Due to Technical Glitch in Mumbai
A SpiceJet flight SG-429, scheduled to fly from Mumbai to Gwalior, experienced a delay due to a technical problem. The flight, initially set to depart at 08:35 am from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, returned to the airport bay following the detection of the issue.
Flight Rescheduled for Departure
The spokesperson for SpiceJet confirmed the technical issue and stated that the departure time of the flight was revised. The airline assured that the flight would depart shortly for Gwalior after addressing the technical glitch. Further details regarding the delay and the nature of the technical problem are awaited.
Previous Incident Involving SpiceJet Aircraft
This delay follows a prior incident in July, when a fire broke out inside a grounded SpiceJet aircraft during maintenance work at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi. That incident, which occurred on July 25, did not result in any injuries to maintenance staff or major damage to the aircraft.
