Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Anticipated Launch

Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6 later this year, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and a more budget-friendly Galaxy Z Fold FE. Serving as the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, this clamshell-style foldable phone is expected to maintain its position as the most affordable option in Samsung’s Galaxy Z series.

Rumored Specifications and Processor

According to tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve), the Galaxy Z Flip 6 could be powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, the same chipset featured in the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ in international markets. This move aligns with Samsung’s strategy of using its own Exynos processor for its less expensive models, as seen with the Galaxy S24 series.

Performance and Features

The Exynos 2400 boasts a high-performance Arm Cortex-X4 core with a peak clock speed of 3.2GHz, along with other cores optimized for efficiency. Notably, it is the first Samsung processor to utilize the Fan-out Wafer Level Package (FOWLP), enhancing thermal management for sustained performance. The Exynos 2400 has proven to be competitive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Expected Upgrades

Leaks regarding the Galaxy Z Flip 6 suggest upgrades such as a larger cover display compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Additionally, the new model is rumored to feature a larger battery capacity and up to 12GB of RAM, offering improved performance and user experience. Further details about the device are anticipated to emerge closer to its expected launch in July.
