
Samba Police Worked Out Theft Case; Accused Arrested & Stolen Cash Recovered
Samba, February 27: Samba Police has worked out a theft case registered at Police Station Ghagwal, arrested an accused and recovered stolen cash of Rs.37000.00 approximately from his possession.
On 25.02.2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal by one Sanjeev Kumar S/o Bisakhi Ram R/o Dhulma Chak tehsil Rajpura district Samba, regarding theft of cash of Rs. 37000.00 approximately from Kul Devta Sthan Baba Bali Karan, Dhulma Chak tehsil Rajpura district Samba by an unknown person.
Acting upon the complaint, a case FIR No. 34/2025 U/S 305, 331(1) BNS was registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a Police team headed by Incharge Police Post Rajpura after relentless efforts and meticulous investigation successfully apprehended the accused namely Surinder Kumar S/o Ram Pal R/o Ramloo tehsil Ramgarh district Samba who upon sustained questioning confessed his involvement in the instant case and stolen cash has been recovered from his possession.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
