    Samba, February 13: Continuing crackdown on illegal mining, Samba Police has seized eight dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

    Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, Incharge Police Post Supwal & Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized eight dumpers.

    These vehicles bearing registration Nos. JK21D-8885, JK21G-9091, JK21G-9191, JK21E-5991, JK02DH-7281, JK08P-5812, JK21K-2799 & JK21G-5654 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

    The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
