In a tragic incident on Friday morning, a pilgrim lost their life, and three others sustained injuries in a road accident in the Katra Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an official report, the mishap occurred when a vehicle transporting pilgrims from Delhi was en route to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. Unfortunately, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to it skidding off the road near Katra. Four pilgrims were injured in the accident and were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital. Regrettably, one of the injured pilgrims succumbed to their injuries, while the others are currently receiving medical treatment.
