Pyare Lal Sharma Secures Historic Victory as Independent Candidate from Inderwal Constituency, Expressed gratitude for support
In a historic win, P.L. Sharma, the independent candidate from Inderwal Constituency, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Inderwal for entrusting him with their votes. He extended special thanks to the people of Marwah, Warwan, Chatroo, Mughalmaidan, Keshwan, and Bonjwah for overwhelmingly supporting him in the election.
Sharma acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with this victory and promised to work tirelessly to meet the expectations of the public. He also expressed deep appreciation for his dedicated workers who campaigned day and night in his favor, making this victory possible.
In his victory speech, Sharma emphasized that Inderwal has finally gained freedom from “dictators” after 75 years of independence, signaling a shift towards a new era of leadership. He reiterated his commitment to fulfilling every promise made during his campaign, assuring the people that he would work diligently for their progress and development.
It is noteworthy that P.L. Sharma was denied a mandate by the National Conference, which left many people in Inderwal disheartened. In response, they united behind him, leading to his candidacy as an independent. His victory serves as a strong message to those who promote divisive and hate-driven politics. Despite Inderwal being a Muslim-majority constituency, the electorate chose a Hindu candidate, demonstrating their rejection of religious divisions.
This win is seen as a triumph of unity over division and a clear rebuke to those attempting to polarize the region along religious lines.
