After a successful presidential election, President-elect Asif Zardari is set to take the oath of office at the esteemed President’s House on Sunday, according to Samaa TV. The ceremony, scheduled for 4 pm, will be administered by Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, marking a pivotal moment in the country’s democratic journey.

Election Commission Confirms Victory
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) declared Asif Ali Zardari’s victory with 411 votes in the presidential election, while his opponent Mehmood Khan Achakzai secured only 181 votes. The ECP noted that the polls took place in major cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Islamabad, with a total of 1,035 valid votes cast.
As Asif Zardari steps into his presidential duties and responsibilities, the nation anticipates the beginning of a new chapter in Pakistan’s political landscape.
