In this regard, Finance Khalid Mehmood and Technician Manzoor Ahmed of the Horticulture Department said that along with the heavy rain, there was a fierce hailstorm due to which the fruits in the nursery were damaged a lot. He said that apart from this, the farmers who had planted orchards in and around Mandi Tehsil also suffered heavy losses due to the hailstorm.
