
Poonch Police Successfully Traces Missing Child Within Hours
In a commendable display of prompt action and efficient policing, Poonch Police successfully traced a missing child within hours of receiving the report, ensuring his safe reunion with his family.
Earlier today, a missing person’s report was lodged at Police Station Mandi regarding a boy named Abrar Ahmed, son of Muhammad Safeer, belonging to the Gujjar (Thakar) community and resident of Danadhakran, Tehsil Mandi.

On receiving the report, a dedicated team from Police Station Mandi was immediately formed on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch. The team swung into action and launched an extensive search operation across the area.
Thanks to the timely and coordinated efforts of the police personnel, the child was successfully traced and safely recovered within a span of just 08 hours.
After completing all necessary formalities, the minor was handed over to his legal heirs. The missing report has since been formally closed.
