Poco, known for its smartphones, might be venturing into the tablet market. Reports suggest that a tablet carrying Poco branding was spotted on a certification website. While lacking a specific name, it’s speculated to be a rebranded Redmi or Xiaomi tablet. Poco recently launched the Poco X6 Neo 5G in India, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.
Certification Details and Speculations
The alleged Poco-branded tablet, identified with the model number 2405CPCFBG, appeared on Europe’s EEC certification site. The certification is expected to remain valid until December 3, 2029. Further details about the tablet remain scarce. If released, it would mark Poco’s debut in the tablet market, possibly following the strategy of rebranding existing Redmi or Xiaomi tablets.
Vivo Pad 3 Specifications Surface
Meanwhile, Geekbench listings hint at the Vivo Pad 3 running on a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, adding to the tablet market’s buzz.
Competitive Tablet Offerings
Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro in China, featuring a 12.4-inch 144Hz 6K LCD screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and up to 16GB of RAM. The tablet offers a 10,000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging, starting from CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 38,000) in China.
The upcoming launch of the Honor Pad 9 in India and the release of the Lenovo Legion Tab with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC add to the diversity of tablet offerings in the market, catering to varied consumer preferences and requirements.
