Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, discussing the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and sharing insights from his recent visit to Ukraine. This conversation followed PM Modi’s discussion with US President Joe Biden just a day earlier, during which they also touched on the Ukraine issue.
PM Modi’s visit to Poland and Ukraine last week was a significant diplomatic move, aimed at reinforcing India’s consistent stance in favor of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the conflict.
In his talk with President Putin, the Prime Minister reiterated India’s strong commitment to supporting an early and peaceful resolution of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has persisted for over two-and-a-half years.
