Passing-Out Parade of Agniveers at INS Chilka
The third batch of Agniveers is set to mark the culmination of their training with a Passing-Out Parade (POP) at INS Chilka, a naval base in Odisha, on March 15. Approximately 2,600 Agniveers, including women, have undergone rigorous training at Chilka.
Distinguished Guests and Participants
Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, will grace the event as the Chief Guest, reviewing the post-sunset POP. Vice Admiral V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, will also be in attendance. The ceremony will witness the presence of proud family members of the passing out Agniveer course, along with high-achieving veterans and sports personalities.
Inspiring the Next Generation
The participation of renowned personalities aims to inspire the Agniveers with their remarkable achievements. Additionally, the Chief of Naval Staff will preside over the valedictory function, present awards and trophies to various divisions, and unveil the bilingual trainees’ magazine, ‘Ankur’.
Celebrating Success and Future Endeavors
The POP not only marks the successful completion of training but also celebrates the dedication and commitment of the Agniveers as they embark on their journey of service and excellence in the Indian Navy.
