Parineeti Chopra recently came out in support of her husband, and politician Raghav Chadha, after he was replaced as the deputy leader of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

• The development comes after the party appointed Ashok Mittal to the position and informed the Rajya Sabha secretariat of the change. 
• Soon after the decision, Raghav Chadha posted a video on Instagram, compiling moments from his speeches in Parliament. 
• The clip highlights a wide range of concerns he had raised, including tax burden on the middle class, banking penalties, food adulteration, air pollution, exam paper leaks, data privacy issues, and rising costs in sectors such as aviation and healthcare.
• The video ends with Chadha walking out of Parliament and is captioned with an evil eye emoji. 
• Reacting to the development, he wrote, “Silenced, not defeated,” and questioned the reasons behind his removal.
• “Whenever I get a chance to speak in the Parliament, I raise public issues. And perhaps I raise topics that are not usually raised in the Parliament. But is raising public issues a crime? Have I committed a crime? Have I made a mistake? Have I done something wrong?” he said, adding that the issues he raised were meant to benefit the public.
