Meanwhile, Parineeti gears up for her forthcoming film ‘Chamkila.’ Recently, she disclosed having gained 15 kg for her role in Imtiaz Ali’s project. To shed the extra weight, she has resumed her workout routine.

In a heartfelt post, she revealed her past six months spent in AR Rahman’s studio, indulging in junk food to meet the requirements of her role in ‘Chamkila.’ She mentioned missing the studio environment while working hard at the gym to regain her original appearance.
‘Chamkila’ features Diljit Dosanjh alongside Parineeti and unfolds the untold story of Amar Singh Chamkila, Punjab’s legendary rockstar.
The film portrays Chamkila’s rise from poverty to fame in the 80s, captivating audiences with his music, which eventually led to his untimely assassination at 27. Revered as one of Punjab’s greatest live-stage performers, Chamkila’s legacy endures in the music industry.
