    Empowering the Landless

Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has recently announced a significant milestone in the region’s development journey. More than 9,000 landless individuals have been granted land, underscoring the government’s commitment to ensuring land accessibility for those who need it the most.

    A Vision for Prosperity

During his visit to Kupwara district, the LG expressed his optimism about the region’s future. He highlighted the government’s efforts to improve transparency and embrace a pro-people approach. This approach, he believes, is ushering in a new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir.

    Expanding Connectivity and Security

In addition to the land allocation initiative, Lieutenant Governor Sinha revealed plans for enhancing transportation infrastructure in Kupwara. The Railway Minister has allocated funds for a technical survey, which, once completed, will pave the way for connecting Kupwara with the rail network. These developments are expected to contribute to the district’s prosperity and improved security conditions.

Furthermore, Kupwara is experiencing a tourism boom, attracting a growing number of visitors. The establishment of a Government Medical College (GMC) and increased access to essential services are transforming the lives of residents in previously underserved areas.

Jammu and Kashmir is on an upward trajectory, with these initiatives fueling its progress. The LG’s dedication to empowering landless individuals, promoting transparency, expanding connectivity, and fostering growth is paving the way for a brighter future in the region.
