Over 250 Young Cricketers Attend U-16 Talent Hunt Trials
JAMMU, Apr 20: More than 250 cricketers drawn from Jammu division sweated-it-out and showed composure and promise in U-16 Boys Talent Hunt selection trials at JKCA Hostel ground, here today.
The Selectors for the Camp divided the players in accordance with their proficiency and made them showcase their cricketing skill to get their nod.
Vying for the top honours, the young cricketers were enthusiastic and energetic in the field on day-1 of the two-day trials.
The Selectors nominated for the Camp included Sarabjeet Singh, J. Singh and Vikrant Taggar.
It is pertinent to mention here that shortlisted players from this Camp will have to play matches for deep selection in the next round to pick the probables from twin divisions for further selection to represent the State/UT in the prestigious Vijay Merchant Multi-Day Tournament.
