Scheduled for an official launch in India on January 12, the Oppo Reno 11 Pro and Oppo Reno 11 are set to make their debut in the country. Anticipating this event, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially confirmed that the Oppo Reno 11 series will be equipped with ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. Offering a commitment to users, Oppo pledges three generations of Android updates along with up to four years of security updates for these flagship smartphones. Originally unveiled in China in November of the preceding year, the Indian version of the Oppo Reno 11 is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, while the Pro variant may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Oppo disclosed that both the Oppo Reno 11 Pro and Reno 11 will come pre-installed with ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 in India. Ensuring a lasting and up-to-date user experience, Oppo guarantees these flagship devices will receive three significant Android version upgrades and four years of security updates. This commitment suggests that the upcoming smartphones will be capable of running up to Android 17.

ColorOS 14, Oppo’s latest custom skin, was introduced in November of the previous year, coinciding with the launch of the Reno 11 series in China. This version, based on Android 14, showcases an Aquamorphic design accompanied by new sound effects, color systems, and interactions. Notably, it incorporates a Trinity Engine aimed at enhancing RAM and storage management. Among its features are various AI-powered functionalities and privacy enhancements, including AI-powered Smart Touch, an updated File Dock, Smart Image Matting, and Smart Charging.

Set to be available through Flipkart, the Oppo Reno 11 series will be accessible to Indian consumers from January 12. The Indian variants of the Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC and MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, respectively. Diverging from the Chinese version, the standard model for India is reported to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, while the Pro model is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Featuring a 6.70-inch full-HD+ OLED curved display with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, the Oppo Reno 11 series boasts an impressive visual experience. The triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, ensures high-quality photography. Both models come with 32-megapixel front-facing cameras for selfies and video calls. The Oppo Reno 11 Pro is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery supported by 80W Super Flash Charge technology, while the Oppo Reno 11 houses a slightly larger 4,800mAh battery with 67W Super Flash Charge support.
