OnePlus Ace 3 Pro Speculations: Anticipating Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 24GB RAM, and 1TB Storage
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, unveiled in August last year featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, might soon see a successor in the form of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. Though there’s no official confirmation from OnePlus, a Chinese tipster named Smart Pikachu has leaked key specifications of the upcoming device on Weibo. According to the leaks, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, boasting an impressive 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a capacious 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The leaked information suggests that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will showcase a curved 6.78-inch OLED display manufactured by BOE, offering a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Previous claims by Digital Chat Station (DCS) hint at a design featuring a metal middle frame and a glass back panel, while the phone is anticipated to run on Android 14-based ColorOS 14.
Compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to bring significant upgrades. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, launched exclusively in China in August last year, started at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 34,600) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Ace 2 Pro featured a 6.74-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It sported up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it housed a 16-megapixel front camera and ran on a 5,000mAh battery with 150W SuperVOOC charging support.
As we await official confirmation from OnePlus, the leaks and rumors surrounding the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro indicate that it could be a notable successor with enhanced specifications and features over its predecessor.
