    Understanding FASTag

FASTag is an electronic toll collection system operational on highways throughout India. It involves a small tag stuck on a vehicle’s windshield, linked to the user’s prepaid account. As vehicles pass through toll plazas, sensors read the FASTag ID, automatically deducting toll charges.

How to Apply for a New FASTag?

Visit authorized banks or financial institutions like SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC, and Axis Bank. Consider factors such as fees, ease of application, and additional benefits offered. Fill in the FASTag application form with accurate details and upload KYC documents. Pay the necessary fees and await verification. Once activated, recharge the linked account for toll payments.
