New Zealand’s Former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern Marries Partner Clarke Gayford
New Zealand’s former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, 43, married her longtime partner Clarke Gayford, 47, in a private ceremony at Craggy Range Winery in Hawke’s Bay. The couple, engaged since May 2019, had previously canceled their wedding due to Ardern’s stringent COVID-19 controls. The ceremony had 50 to 75 guests, including current Prime Minister Chris Hipkins. Ardern, known for her progressive policies, leadership during crises, and being one of the few women to lead a nation while having a child in office, has been on a six-month fellowship at Harvard University. The couple’s daughter Neve is five years old.
