The focus of the meeting was the purported paper leak scandal affecting the NEET and NET exams.
During deliberations, NCDC members including Sudha Menon, Shakila Wahab, Mohammad Rizwan, Radha Sajeev, Sheeba P K & others expressed deep apprehension about the integrity of these competitive exams. They underscored the urgent need for a thorough investigation by the government and recommended that the case be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a transparent inquiry.
The NCDC committee emphasized the importance of identifying the perpetrators behind the alleged scam to take action against them. The meeting concluded with a consensus that decisive action is essential to uphold the credibility of educational assessments in the country.
Notably, the NCDC, an autonomous organization dedicated to the welfare of women and children, plays a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality education throughout India.
