Motorola Signature 27 Launched Globally With Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and 200MP Camera

NEW DELHI, November 6, 2026 (VoM News): Motorola has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Motorola Signature 27, in select global markets, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and a 7,000mAh battery. The company has confirmed that the handset will also arrive in India later this month.

The smartphone succeeds the Motorola Signature, which was introduced in India in January this year. Its global starting price is EUR 1,599, approximately Rs 1.70 lakh. It will be available through Motorola’s online store in two Pantone-curated colour options: Capulet Olive and Coal Smoke.

The Motorola Signature 27 runs Android 17-based Graphene OS and comes with a commitment of seven years of operating system upgrades and security updates. It features a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo LTPO Tandem OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and claimed peak brightness of up to 12,000 nits. The handset also includes stereo speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen.

Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, paired with an Adreno 850 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

For photography, the device carries a triple rear camera system comprising a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-910 primary sensor, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x digital zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also supports video recording at up to 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.

The phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Additional features include IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protection and MIL-STD-810H durability certification.
