DODA, JANUARY 22 – The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) in Doda, led by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh and supervised by ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, orchestrated a road safety awareness event on Ghat Road. The primary goal of this initiative was to heighten awareness among both commercial and private drivers regarding safe driving practices.

As part of the ongoing observance of National Road Safety Month throughout the district, a dedicated enforcement and awareness program unfolded on the 8th day of the month at Ghat Road. The focus centered on educating motorcycle riders about the critical importance of wearing helmets, underscoring its significance for both the rider and the pillion passenger. Furthermore, participants were enlightened about the necessity of ensuring pedestrian safety on the roads.

The entire program unfolded under the vigilant supervision of ARTO Doda and other officials from the Motor Vehicle Department. This underscored the community’s dedication to advancing road safety measures and curbing accidents.
