Mother-Son Duo from Kishtwar Killed, Father Injured in Udhampur Road Accident on Jammu-Srinagar Highway
UDHAMPUR: A tragic road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Tikrri Udhampur claimed the lives of a mother and son from Kishtwar, while the father sustained injuries.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Shafiqa Begum wife of Abdul Kabir Zargar and their 33 years old son Asif Kabir Zargar residents of Kishtwar.

The accident occurred when their Baleno car no JK 02CH/5448 , traveling from Jammu towards Kishtwar, lost control and rammed into a roadside parapet wall. Injured Abdul Kabeer Zargar retired NHPC is under treatment at GMC Jammu.
Police have registered a case and further investigation into the incident is underway.
