Mobile Internet Services Restored in J-K’s Poonch and Rajouri Districts After Terror Attack
In the aftermath of a tragic terror attack on two army vehicles that claimed the lives of four Army Jawans, mobile internet services in the Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir have been reinstated after a week-long suspension. This suspension was a security measure enacted to curb the spread of rumors and maintain order in the region following the distressing incident.
Service Reinstatement Confirmed
Ramesh Kumar, the Divisional Commissioner of the Jammu region, confirmed the restoration of mobile internet services. He indicated that the situation in the affected areas had regained normalcy, prompting the authorities to lift the internet restrictions. The temporary suspension was a preventive step aimed at preventing any potential disturbances in law and order and effectively curbed the spread of unverified information and rumors.
